Prep Cook

About the role

As a Prep Cook, you will be responsible for preparing food items according to recipes and serving standards. You will also assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals using various cooking methods.
• Follow recipes and serving standards to ensure consistency in food preparation.
• Assist in cleaning and sanitizing cooking equipment and utensils after use.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Arizona Food Handlers Card.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen setting is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

Skills

• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques.
• Ability to read and understand recipes.
• Basic computer skills (e.g., using a computer for timekeeping).

Pay

The pay rate for this position is $15.00 per hour.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
