About the role
As a Prep Cook, you will be responsible for preparing food items according to recipes and serving standards. You will also assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals using various cooking methods.
- Follow recipes and serving standards to ensure consistency in food preparation.
- Assist in cleaning and sanitizing cooking equipment and utensils after use.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Arizona Food Handlers Card.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Experience in a fast-paced kitchen setting is preferred but not required.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Skills
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques.
- Ability to read and understand recipes.
- Basic computer skills (e.g., using a computer for timekeeping).
