About the role
We are expanding our team to open our second Casey's Tavern in East Ann Arbor. Since 1986, Casey's Tavern has been known for "Lots of Good Cheap Food and Dozens of Beers." Located in the historic Depot Street building, Casey's Tavern offers a casual, friendly atmosphere and is a local favorite. Renowned for its burgers, the menu includes a variety of options including deli sandwiches, salads, fish and steaks, vegetarian dishes, and creative appetizers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items under supervision
- Follow recipes and food preparation guidelines
- Ensure food safety and quality standards are met
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and work areas
- Support other departments as needed
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety procedures
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Michigan driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
