Duties & Responsibilities
- Prep ingredients for daily service, including chopping vegetables, portioning proteins, and preparing sauces, dressings, and batters.
- Follow established recipes and preparation procedures.
- Properly label, date, store, and rotate all prepped food to maintain freshness and reduce waste.
- Ensure all prep areas are clean, sanitized, and organized.
- Support the line by ensuring all necessary items are stocked and ready for service.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, appearance, and consistency.
- Affix occasionally assist with basic cooking tasks during slower shifts or as directed by the kitchen manager.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of full-service restaurant kitchen experience desired.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have reliable transportation to/from work.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 6 hours).
- Must be able to stand, reach, bend, squat, and lift during shift.
- Must possess a friendly, hardworking demeanor with a passion for hospitality and providing top-notch guest service.
- Strong communication skills and ability to communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organizational and time management skills; must possess ability to be organized in a changing environment.
