Responsibilities
- Prepare food items
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Communicate effectively with others
- Perform various duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Proven experience as prep cook (minimum 1 year of experience as a line cook in a high-volume restaurant)
- Knowledge of health and safety rules in the kitchen
- Manual dexterity to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils
- Team player with good communication skills
- Patience with an ability to stay positive under pressure
- Good physical condition and endurance to work long periods of time (up to 9 hours)
- Able to stoop, bend and reach and able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and some holidays
