Responsibilities

  • Prepare food items
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
  • Communicate effectively with others
  • Perform various duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as prep cook (minimum 1 year of experience as a line cook in a high-volume restaurant)
  • Knowledge of health and safety rules in the kitchen
  • Manual dexterity to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Patience with an ability to stay positive under pressure
  • Good physical condition and endurance to work long periods of time (up to 9 hours)
  • Able to stoop, bend and reach and able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and some holidays
