Prep Cook

About the role

Woodleigh Chase by Erickson Senior Living is looking for a Prep Cook who is passionate about food and teamwork, with culinary experience. You will contribute to Signature Dining Programs, engage in à la minute cooking, and create chef-inspired dishes while working with a dedicated team in state-of-the-art kitchens using top-notch equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the consistent preparation of all food items according to proper safety and cooking techniques
• Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen and work station
• Use culinary talents to prepare and assemble high-quality menu items that drive resident satisfaction

Requirements

• Ability to work some weekends and holidays; flexible scheduling
• Ability to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, from hot kitchens to cold refrigerators and freezers

Pay

Starting at $18 – Max at $21 per hour based on experience, paid bi-weekly.

Schedule

Full-Time: 12:00 pm – 8:30 pm or 11:00 am – 7:30 pm; Saturday availability required.
