Responsibilities
- Set up and sanitize workstations in the kitchen
- Follow prep lists created by chefs
- Measure ingredients and seasonings
- Prepare cooking ingredients such as soup stock
- Prepare simple dishes, such as entrees or salads
- Ensure all food items are properly stored and easily accessible
- Perform basic cooking duties and monitor stock levels
Requirements
- Experience as a prep cook preferred
- Safe food handling techniques required
- Ability to read and understand recipes
- Work in a team environment
- Work flexible shifts
- Handle multiple tasks at once and communicate effectively (verbally and/or in writing)
