Prep Cook

About the role

Clyde’s Willow Creek Farm, a restored 18th‑century farm in Ashburn, VA and part of the Clyde’s Restaurant Group, is seeking a Prep Cook. Responsibilities

• Wash, peel, slice, dice, chop, and otherwise prepare raw vegetables, meat, and fish.
• Use a commercial food slicer to slice various meats, cheese, and vegetables.
• Operate a commercial food processor to prep foods.
• Operate both convection and conventional ovens and gas ranges.
• Lift, handle, weigh, and portion food items using a commercial portion‑control scale.
• Label, date, and store pre‑pped product.
• Clean, wipe, and scour prep equipment and machinery, and sweep and mop prep area floors.

Requirements

• Hardworking, attentive, and hospitality‑driven with a desire to excel and maintain the highest level of service.
• Experience as a prep cook desired, preferably in a high‑volume restaurant.
• Ability to read and prep recipes to measurements and standards.

Schedule

Variable schedule including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays. Part‑time, full‑time, and on‑call shifts are available.

Pay

Pay range: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour.
