Responsibilities
- Support the culinary team in exceeding Member expectations
- Prepare ingredients according to recipes, prep lists, and chef instructions
- Wash, peel, cut, and portion food items accurately and efficiently
- Maintain proper food storage, labeling, and rotation (FIFO standards)
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout shifts
- Assist line cooks and chefs with basic cooking tasks as needed
- Maintain a positive, cooperative attitude with coworkers and management
- Adapt to changing prep needs, special requests, and event requirements
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a kitchen or food preparation role preferred
- Ability to follow recipes, prep sheets, and production lists
- Basic knife skills and understanding of kitchen equipment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Flexibility with schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Country club or high-volume kitchen experience is a plus
