About the role
PACU Registered Nurse at South Denver Surgery Center.
Responsibilities
- Implement all physician orders
- Provide continuity and quality of nursing care for all patients
- Evaluate patients' condition continually
- Aid physicians in procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation, and sterile technique
- Assist in the care of patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation
- Prepare patients for discharge
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Colorado Registered Nurse License
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Experience in PACU / ICU preferred
- Good communication and human relations skills
- Organizational and follow-through abilities
- Thorough knowledge of perioperative processes and surgical procedures
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current CO Registered Nurse License
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Experience in PACU / ICU
