About the Role

The Suite Attendant is responsible for serving guests in the Suites. The role requires a personable individual who can work in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent attendance and availability to work events as scheduled.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the setup of food service areas within specific suites and club areas based on pre-orders.
  • Ensure all assigned suites are set prior to the event based on communicated orders.
  • Organize and prepare events in assigned locations.
  • Assist in closing out financials per event and ensure correct billing.
  • Monitor and maintain food quality, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure a positive atmosphere for team members and guests.
  • Monitor and enforce safe alcohol policies and procedures, including checking IDs to verify minimum age requirements.
  • Maintain inventory control and fulfill product requisition.
  • Have full knowledge of food and beverage menu items and accompaniments.
  • Supervise the service of beverages, including alcoholic beverages, and observe guests to respond to additional requests.
  • Ensure suites have all necessary serving ware.
  • Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
  • Demonstrate the ability to meet company standards for excellent attendance.
  • Ensure location equipment is operable and clean prior to the start of the event.
  • Recognize guests who are visibly intoxicated and take action to cut off alcohol service.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management, and guests to foster a positive and cooperative work environment.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
  • Possess a valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations.
  • Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly.
  • Ability to perform basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) related to POS transactions, cash reconciliation, and product inventory.

Pay

This role pays an hourly rate of $15.00 to $18.00 and is tip-eligible (per CBA).
