About the role
Levy at American Airlines Center is seeking a motivated, energetic, and guest-focused event-based part-time Food & Beverage Runner to join our Premium In-Seat or Suites team. This event-based, part-time position is responsible for delivering food and beverage orders to luxury suites, restaurants, and premium dining areas while providing exceptional guest service in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently to luxury suites, restaurants, and premium dining locations.
- Assist suite attendants and service teams with large orders, restocking supplies, and supporting event operations.
- Communicate effectively with culinary staff, bartenders, servers, suite attendants, and supervisors to ensure timely and accurate service.
- Provide exceptional guest service by responding professionally to guest requests, questions, and concerns.
- Maintain food quality, presentation, and proper serving temperatures while following HACCP, food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
- Keep work areas, service stations, and equipment clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout each event.
- Complete opening and closing responsibilities, including cleaning, storing supplies, breaking down equipment, and preparing service areas for future events.
- Follow all company policies, service standards, and safety procedures while performing additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in hospitality, catering, hotels, stadiums/arenas, clubs, or full-service restaurants preferred.
- Previous premium hospitality or event venue experience is a plus.
- Valid TABC Certification and ServSafe Food Handler Certification (or the ability to obtain within the required timeframe).
- Excellent customer service, communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, reach, climb stairs, and perform repetitive tasks throughout scheduled shifts.
