About the role
As a Private Banker, you will manage full-service banking relationships with businesses, professional practices, and high-net-worth individuals while overseeing a portfolio of highly complex accounts. You will consult with clients regarding financial needs, recommend products and services, and ensure compliance with all applicable policies and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Actively participate in a business development plan to increase the Bank’s loan and deposit portfolio.
- Manage and grow relationships with businesses, professional practices, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Consult with prospects and clients regarding financial needs; recommend products and services including credit structures, loan packages, and account services.
- Cross-sell Retail, Trust, Mortgage, and Treasury Management services such as credit cards, personal trusts, and investment, financial, and estate planning services.
- Analyze financial, tax, and credit needs of customers; monitor changing needs and recommend strategies utilizing company products/services.
- Resolve customer problems and assist with general inquiries while providing superior service.
- Ensure all required loan documentation is complete and compliant; clear exceptions noted by Loan Operations or other review channels.
- Develop and utilize a Center of Influence (COI) network to generate new business.
- Demonstrate a commitment to fair lending practices and remain knowledgeable of all relevant laws and regulations.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with COIs to enhance the Bank’s image and reputation.
- Represent the Bank in the community, endorsing its products and services and making appropriate referrals.
- Provide training and guidance to less experienced Private Bankers as needed.
- Accept other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Finance, Management, Business Administration) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 15 years of Business Banking or Private Banking experience; 5 or more years of lending or sales experience preferred.
- FINRA Series 7, 63, or 66 licenses not required unless participating in securities and brokerage activities.
- Extensive knowledge of Bank products, services, procedures, and practices.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and State lending regulations and Bank policies related to lending procedures.
- Previous experience with analysis of Retail, Private Banking, and/or Commercial relationships, strategic sales planning, and client issue resolution.
- Familiarity with the local business community is strongly preferred.

Work Environment
- Position is based in a private office at 16000 Dallas Pkwy., Ste. 125, Dallas, Texas 75248.
- Telecommuting roles (hybrid or full-time) require a secure home office free from background noise and distractions, with a reliable private internet connection (cable or fiber preferred).
- Travel may be required for meetings as needed.
- Large amount of time spent in front of a computer, either sitting or standing with the use of an adjustable desk.
- Must be able to effectively access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, reports, and identify customers.
