About the role
The Premier Banker is an experienced banker responsible for servicing complex client portfolios of mass affluent clients. This role involves managing these clients' complete banking relationships and connecting them with specialists to ensure all financial needs are met.
Responsibilities
- Manage and address banking needs of mass affluent clients through proactive outreach and needs-based conversations.
- Convert referrals, leads, and prospects to deepen and retain client relationships.
- Engage in client outreach via phone, email, and appointments to review and analyze financial information and suggest appropriate solutions.
- Provide excellent client service, escalate banking issues when necessary, and adhere to relevant policies and procedures.
- Facilitate loan applications and closings, maintaining an active NMLS registration status.
- Collaborate with partners like Wealth Financial Advisors to prepare for future client interactions and provide ongoing coaching.
- Implement TD’s client Identification Program (CIP) and adhere to regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 2+ years financial/banking experience
- Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE) completion preferred
- Lifetime Life & Health license preferred
- Active NMLS registration upon hire
- Consultative sales experience required
Qualifications
- Understanding and experience with retail and small business banking
- Experience interacting with Mass Affluent and high net worth clients
- Ability to maintain an active NMLS registration status
- Strong relationship building and selling skills
- Detail-oriented and self-starter with high energy level
- Positive attitude towards change and ability to embrace new ideas
