About the role

The Premier Banker role is based in Berlin, Connecticut, USA. TD offers competitive compensation and growth opportunities. The base pay range is $25.75 - $38.50 USD per hour. The Premier Banker is responsible for managing and servicing a complex client portfolio of mass affluent clients, ensuring their banking needs are met through proactive outreach and advice-based approaches.

Responsibilities

  • Grow, deepen, and retain client relationships by delivering TD’s model of convenience, sales, and advice.
  • Manage and address clients' banking needs through proactive outreach and needs-based conversations.
  • Convert referrals, leads, and outbound prospects into new clients.
  • Engage with clients via phone, email, and appointments to discuss financial information and suggest appropriate solutions.
  • Escalate banking-related issues and risks when necessary.
  • Adhere to relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with Wealth Financial Advisors for joint pipeline and review meetings.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to bank staff on effective methods to articulate the Premier program's value and make Premier referrals.
  • Understand and adhere to regulations, TD Bank & TD Wealth Policies and Procedures.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 2+ years financial/banking experience
  • Successfully completed the Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE)
  • Licensed in Life & Health preferred
  • Experience with retail and small business banking
  • Experience interacting with Mass Affluent and high net worth clients
  • Maintain an active NMLS registration status
  • Consultative sales experience required

  • Ability to deliver client end-to-end advice and advocate for clients

  • Ability to work as a single point of contact for clients
