PreK-8th 1FTE Building Reserve Teacher

Primary Responsibilities

• Onsite daily to meet staff absences needs
• Collaborate daily with grade level teams
• Build strong relationships with students and families
• Hold high expectations for students, staff, and families
• Participate actively in regular meetings and professional development
• Lead large and small group activities
• Implement grade level curriculum plans utilizing designated resources
• Maintains regular and punctual work attendance

Requirements

• Education, Certifications, And Work Related Experience
• Bachelor's Degree or higher
• Current MN teaching license in the area of employment
• Teaching experience valued

Knowledge-base Requirements

• Knowledge of writing and implementing standards-based lesson plans
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build trust with colleagues and families
• Experience with and/or knowledge of the Minnesota State Standards
• Knowledge and experience mapping curriculum
• Ability to write rigorous assessments that challenge student achievement
