About the role
The PreK Teacher Aide will assist the teacher in creating a safe and nurturing environment for young children, supporting their social, emotional, and academic development.
Responsibilities
- Support classroom activities and routines
- Assist with daily care and supervision of students
- Help maintain a clean and organized classroom
- Collaborate with teachers to implement educational programs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Experience working with children in a childcare or education setting
- Valid Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for early childhood education
Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of child development and learning theories
