About the role
The Preferred Banker position at First Financial Bank involves developing, defining, and executing the Bank's strategy, particularly within the Wealth and Investment Division. This role requires driving the success of the Consumer Bank strategy by engaging and pursuing activities that provide holistic financial solutions for affluent clients, fostering long-term relationships.
Responsibilities
- Actively manage client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact and advocate for assigned clients.
- Develop personalized client plans and build strategies to recommend comprehensive financial solutions.
- Build trust through timely and relevant communication, maintaining detailed records of progress and outcomes.
- Engage with key partners like Yellow Cardinal to deepen client relationships, identify new opportunities, and facilitate introductions and referrals.
- Participate in community events and actively contribute to the local economy.
- Maintain expertise in various banking products, including deposits, credit, and investments, and proactively set calling strategies to generate new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote the Bank's strategic priorities.
- Comply with all bank, loan, and regulatory guidelines and policies.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and guidance to local bankers and specialists to enhance their performance.
- Develop and maintain a robust book of client relationships, ensuring they are the primary advocates for clients and business owners.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in banking and/or financial services, specifically with clients in the affluent segment.
- 3-5 years of sales and service experience, with a track record of achieving sales and service goals.
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong product knowledge, including banking products, services, and credit solutions for consumer clients.
- Familiarity with financial planning, investment products, and wealth solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- The ability to work independently and in a team environment, managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Desire to pursue professional financial designations such as FPQP®, CFP®, CWS, ChFC, etc.
SkillsStrong product knowledge related to banking products, services, and credit solutions for consumer clients.
