Responsibilities
- Utilizing studies and analyses, specifically a strong background in mission-level modeling and simulation, the analyst will make recommendations regarding the military utility, feasibility, joint warfighter impacts of the concepts and capabilities under study.
- Able to coordinate with senior managers and decision makers to identify and solve a variety of problems and to clarify management objectives.
- The Analyst will work as part of a contractor team working alongside a broader team of government and contract staff.
Requirements
- Master's degree in operations research or a theoretical science field.
- An active Top Secret with SCI security clearance.
- 10+ years of directly applicable experience in conducting modeling & simulation analyses.
- Willingness to learn and employ campaign-level and/or defense enterprise-level models.
- High motivation, creativity, and flexibility to work in a dynamic environment.
- Strong quantitative and analytic abilities to integrate and analyze data.
Qualifications
- PhD in operations research or a theoretical science field preferred.
- Experience with more highly aggregated, campaign-level and/or defense enterprise-level analysis tools preferred.
- Experience in DoD space and joint force programs preferred.
- Experience with AFSIM, SEAS, STORM or other related models preferred.
- Experience with Java, MATLAB, R, SAS, JMP, and/or Python preferred.
- Experience with data transformations and data visualization preferred.
- Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) and MySQL or other relational databases preferred.
- Experience with BI Tools preferred.
- Experience with Excel VBA preferred.
