Responsibilities

  • Utilizing studies and analyses, specifically a strong background in mission-level modeling and simulation, the analyst will make recommendations regarding the military utility, feasibility, joint warfighter impacts of the concepts and capabilities under study.
  • Able to coordinate with senior managers and decision makers to identify and solve a variety of problems and to clarify management objectives.
  • The Analyst will work as part of a contractor team working alongside a broader team of government and contract staff.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in operations research or a theoretical science field.
  • An active Top Secret with SCI security clearance.
  • 10+ years of directly applicable experience in conducting modeling & simulation analyses.
  • Willingness to learn and employ campaign-level and/or defense enterprise-level models.
  • High motivation, creativity, and flexibility to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong quantitative and analytic abilities to integrate and analyze data.

Qualifications

  • PhD in operations research or a theoretical science field preferred.
  • Experience with more highly aggregated, campaign-level and/or defense enterprise-level analysis tools preferred.
  • Experience in DoD space and joint force programs preferred.
  • Experience with AFSIM, SEAS, STORM or other related models preferred.
  • Experience with Java, MATLAB, R, SAS, JMP, and/or Python preferred.
  • Experience with data transformations and data visualization preferred.
  • Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) and MySQL or other relational databases preferred.
  • Experience with BI Tools preferred.
  • Experience with Excel VBA preferred.
