About the role

This role will lead technical work focused on cloud-enabled scalability, reliability, and delivery excellence. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage large, complex datasets ensuring accuracy and organization for analysis
  • Implement advanced data transformation techniques to optimize data for models
  • Work on predictive models using classification, regression, and clustering algorithms
  • Contribute to model optimization and performance evaluation through hyperparameter tuning
  • Develop end-to-end analytical solutions aligning with client business objectives
  • Ensure analytical results support key performance indicators and measurable outcomes
  • Present complex findings clearly to stakeholders, aiding in informed decision-making

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Analytics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or a related field is preferred
  • 4+ years of experience building and validating predictive credit risk models in the financial services or lending industry
  • Proven experience with model development, deployment, testing, validation, and monitoring
  • Expert-level skills in Python for model development and analysis using frameworks like Pandas and Scikit-learn
  • High-level proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation
  • Proficiency in AWS for model training, building, and deployment is preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Pay

$110,000 – $130,000 annually
