Role Overview The Preconstruction Manager leads efforts to secure new projects, overseeing proposal, estimate, and presentation processes. They provide leadership and support for multiple small projects or a large, complex project, ensuring safety, budget, quality, schedule, and profitability. Responsibilities include developing and implementing quality management plans, managing design reviews for compliance and constructability, coordinating interdisciplinary efforts, and supervising project teams. They oversee progress payments, monitor subcontractor compliance, and ensure effective communication with clients and stakeholders. Qualifications & Skills Require postsecondary education in engineering, construction management, or related fields, with 15+ years of construction experience. Preferred experience includes 2–5 years as a construction manager and estimating experience. Must have expert knowledge of safety, codes, and construction laws, with proven leadership in managing multiple project facets, trade performance, and risk mitigation. Strong skills in project coordination, cost control, and stakeholder engagement are essential. This role emphasizes team supervision, technical oversight, and project planning to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.
