About the role

Fives Landis Corp in Concord Twp., Ohio is seeking a Precision Tool Grinder to join the Cutting Tools team. The company, a global leader in high‑precision diamond cutting and dressing tools (CITCO Tools), serves automotive, medical, and aerospace industries and is dedicated to solving technological, environmental, social and economic challenges through innovation. Located off I‑90 and Auburn Road, the facility offers an easy commute.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain manual grinding machines to grind tooling components to exact specifications.
• Inspect parts using optical comparators and similar tools to ensure top‑notch accuracy.
• Maintain high standards for safety, precision, and performance as part of a quality‑driven team.
• Work under the direction of the Production Supervisor within the Cutting Tools team.

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• Shop math capabilities to calculate dimensions and tolerances.
• Mechanical mindset with the ability to use grinding machinery.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail.
• Self‑motivated problem solver with a keen eye for precision.

Pay

Competitive pay rates based on experience.

1st shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM; overtime available.
