Precision Racker - 2nd Shift

Pay Rate: $20.50 per hour

Location: Huntington Beach, CA

Shift: Monday through Friday, 2:15PM to 11:00PM

About the role

Prepare parts for finishing process in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is key.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts for finishing process by placing them on racks/baskets
• Rack/un-rack products into specified locations, bending pins/wires for secure holding
• Load/unload product into/from PVD vacuum coating machines
• Learn fixturing techniques for proper PVD processing
• Handle products, fixture onto racks, select racks based on size/shape/quantity
• Visually inspect parts for finish compliance
• Handle customer products/tools with extreme caution to avoid damage
• Maintain traceability of customer property, complete paperwork/tags
• Maintain clean, orderly work area, adhere to safety regulations
• Perform additional assignments as directed by supervisor

Requirements

• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing)

• Mechanical aptitude and basic machine shop skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate
• Hands-on knowledge of mechanical and computer-controlled machinery
• Preferably two (2) years' experience in Manufacturing or Machine Shop
• Experience in vacuum coating field or related industry is a plus
• Knowledge of PVD Coatings or previous experience in plating desired
