About the Role

We're looking for a Precision Medicine Data Lead to help build and refine the data foundations that power cutting-edge healthcare AI — translating complex, large-scale biological and clinical datasets into insights that matter. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role for an experienced professional with a strong background in healthcare data, genomics, or life sciences analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Design, oversee, and optimize data pipelines that integrate genomics, clinical records, biomarkers, and other healthcare data into unified analytics platforms
  • Lead analytical strategies that transform integrated datasets into actionable insights for precision medicine research and clinical decision support
  • Collaborate with clinicians, researchers, and technical teams to ensure data quality, regulatory alignment, and scientific rigor
  • Translate complex findings into clear, meaningful outputs for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Apply data governance best practices to maintain compliance and integrity across sensitive healthcare datasets
  • Evaluate and improve AI-generated outputs in the context of genomic and clinical data workflows

Requirements

  • Experienced working with large-scale healthcare, genomic, or life sciences datasets in analytics or data leadership roles
  • Deep background in data integration, data governance, and translating complex data into actionable scientific or clinical insights
  • Comfortable operating cross-functionally with clinical, research, and engineering teams in regulated or highly technical environments
  • Strong written communicator who can convey technical findings to diverse audiences
  • Detail-oriented and rigorous — you hold data to a high standard

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assurance, or evaluation systems
  • Familiarity with AI or machine learning workflows applied to healthcare or life sciences
  • Background in bioinformatics, clinical informatics, or translational research
  • Experience in regulated environments such as HIPAA-compliant or GxP settings
