Precision Machining Specialist

About the role

As a Precision Machining Specialist at B&S Machine Shop, you will be responsible for designing, programming, and operating CNC machines to manufacture high-quality parts. You will work closely with engineers and other team members to ensure that all components meet the required specifications.

Responsibilities

• Design and program CNC machining operations
• Operate CNC machines to produce precision parts
• Interact with engineering teams to discuss part designs and production requirements
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in CNC machining
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience with various metalworking processes
• Knowledge of ISO and ASME standards

Skills

• CAD/CAM proficiency (SolidWorks, AutoCAD preferred)
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
