Precision Inspector II
Responsibilities
- Uses hand tools and custom fixtures, working in a team environment with other assemblers and support functions to produce products on time and with high level of quality.
- Performs validation and inspection of own work and within immediate work area.
- Maintains adequate supplies and a neat and orderly work area.
- Maintains tools and equipment in proper working order.
- Maintains the security and confidentiality of customer products and documentation.
- May become involved with product testing.
- Participates in providing timely feedback to upstream and downstream operations as appropriate.
- Proactively participates in site Lean engagement and activities.
- Provides feedback on ways to reduce scrap created within the process by recommending corrective action to reduce or eliminating root cause.
- Adheres to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
- Complies and follows all company security policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Able to perform all the essential functions and competencies listed above.
- Cross-trained in all assigned operations and/or is a specialist or SME in at least one involved process.
- Able to use a wide variety of tooling.
- Works with moderately complex processes and challenging customer expectations.
- Able to use independent judgment with minimum oversight by supervision.
- Works with complex product testing.
- Serves as a mentor to lesser skilled employees.
- Able to handle multiple and changing priorities.
- Multi-skilled and/or possesses specialized knowledge.
- Comeptent with reading and understanding of blueprints.
Education
High School Diploma or GED
Other Information
Ability to read, write, and perform basic-intermediate math.
Ability to perform moderate-complex placement and testing 3-10 years working with all processes or a specialized knowledge in one or more processes.
Ability to read, write, and perform basic math skills.
Ability to perform basic-moderate placement and testing activities.
Pay
$23.510000 to $35.260000 USD.
