Precision Cut-Off Saw Technician

About the role

The Precision Cut-Off Saw Technician is responsible for operating precision cut-off saws to cut various materials according to specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate precision cut-off saws to cut materials such as steel, aluminum, and wood.
• Ensure all cutting operations are performed safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Follow detailed blueprints and work orders to ensure accurate cuts.
• Handle and store materials safely, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to keep it in good working order.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with precision cut-off saws and other related machinery.
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members and supervisors.

Skills

• Knowledge of safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

Hourly rate: 19 - 21 USD per hour.
