About the role
The Precision CNC HMC Operator is responsible for setting up and operating high-precision CNC Horizontal Machining Centers (HMCs) to produce complex parts efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Set up and configure CNC machines according to part drawings and production schedules.
- Operate CNC machines to perform precise machining operations on various materials including metals and plastics.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate production runs and resolve issues promptly.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in CNC machining or related field.
- Proficiency in using CNC machines and associated software.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
- Good physical condition to perform manual labor and stand for extended periods.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license required.
