Precision CNC HMC Operator — Production Run Setups

About the role

The Precision CNC HMC Operator is responsible for setting up and operating high-precision CNC Horizontal Machining Centers (HMCs) to produce complex parts efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Set up and configure CNC machines according to part drawings and production schedules.
• Operate CNC machines to perform precise machining operations on various materials including metals and plastics.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate production runs and resolve issues promptly.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in CNC machining or related field.
• Proficiency in using CNC machines and associated software.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
• Good physical condition to perform manual labor and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required.
