Job Description
- Learn precision welding techniques in one or more of the following areas: TIG ID, TIG OD, Laser ID, Part / Laser Marking.
- Become familiar with and follow documented work instructions to craft components that meet exact specifications.
- Maintain stable operating conditions by getting hands-on with machine set-ups.
- Monitor production in real-time and make quick adjustments to tooling and machines to ensure quality.
- Use tools like micrometers, verniers, leak-check equipment, and visual assessments to inspect parts and maintain quality standards.
- Acquire basic computer systems skills to accurately record labor transactions and keep entries up-to-date.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- No prior experience necessary, but mechanical inclination or previous manufacturing experience is helpful.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and labor transaction systems.
- Dependability and problem-solving skills are valued.
- Experience with microscopes or vision systems is a plus.
