Responsibilities
- Assemble small components by hand as well as operating assembly machines
- Operate ink imprinting machine, load parts into and operate oven
- Operate riveting machines (manual and automated) and various parts cleaning equipment
- Operate semi-automated and automated laser welders
- Inspect parts to ensure quality and accuracy
- Pack and prepare components for shipment
- Prepare time and production records correctly on a daily basis
- Maintain clean-room environment
- Set up and operate parts cleaning equipment and work with the chemicals involved in parts cleaning
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Excellent visual acuity to see small components
- Excellent finger & hand dexterity to manipulate and assemble small components by hand
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs and stand for an 8-hour shift
- Flexible to work rotating daylight, afternoon and midnight shifts
- Comfortable wearing clean room attire
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to communicate effectively with all levels
- Service attitude, commitment to safety and quality
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Prior assembly experience preferred, but not required
