Precision Assembler I
Responsibilities
- Uses hand tools and custom fixtures, working in a team environment with other assemblers and support functions to produce products on time and with high level of quality.
- Performs validation and inspection of own work and within immediate work area.
- Maintains adequate supplies and a neat and orderly work area.
- Maintains tools and equipment in proper working order.
- Maintains the security and confidentiality of customer products and documentation.
- May become involved with product testing.
- Participates in providing timely feedback to upstream and downstream operations as appropriate.
- Proactively participates in site Lean engagement and activities.
- Provides feedback on ways to reduce scrap created within the process by recommending corrective action to reduce or eliminate root cause.
- Adheres to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
- Complies and follows all company security policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Recommend methods for improving area efficiency and reducing waste.
- Builds stable working relationships with operators and peers.
- Learns and masters all tasks associated with product assembly that are assigned.
Qualifications
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude including circuits and general tools, electric static discharge (ESD), torque and strain mechanical properties and understanding of fluid and pneumatic systems.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required.
- Able to handle changing priorities.
- Effective communication, both verbal and written.
- Able to work overtime as needed.
- Obtain and renew certifications on assigned equipment and be willing to cross-train in other areas.
- Participates in a continuous improvement activity.
Skills
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
- Ability to perform basic-moderate placement and testing activities.

Competitive compensation package, including base salary, performance-based incentives, and benefits.
Schedule
Shift 2, Monday - Friday, 2:30pm-11:00pm.
