Job Responsibilities
- Obtain relevant information from a blueprint.
- Match and assemble standard product on matching bench.
- Use skill and judgment in selecting correct sizes, including inners, outers, and balls.
- Making setups, weighted greasing, oil plating, noise testing, vacuum bagging, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and making corrections, adjustments, and repairs to the mechanical equipment.
- Using various measuring devices to accurately maintain proper sizes and tolerances, with higher skill required for higher precision production.
- Performing other Assembly duties when needed, including operating assembly equipment, greasing, capping, sealing, bagging, packing, maintaining accurate production records, moving materials, and performing simple preventive maintenance of equipment.
- Minimizing scrap and rework and quickly identifying issues that may prohibit production, reporting those issues to the Lead or Supervisor.
- Maintaining cleanliness and neatness in all work areas.
