Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure quality documentation and required records for the Project are accurate and up to date.
- Perform inspections of fabrication process and monitor operations.
- Inspection for compliance with contract documents, standards, and specifications of precast-prestressed concrete products.
- Testing of materials; review of plans.
- Keeping daily diaries on project operations, resolving daily constructability issues and troubleshooting problems to mitigate delays to project’s progress.
- Effectively communicating and coordinating work with contractor, coworkers and supervisors.
- Testing concrete on-site.
- Review fabrication details for constructability and installation compatibility.
- Review material certifications, fabrication quality control records, fabricator’s inspection and testing records, fabrication quality control records and repair records.
- Review quality documents prior to delivery.
- Aid in ensuring that quality requirements are implemented by subcontractors.
- Compile comprehensive reports detailing quality performance, highlighting trends, and suggesting corrective actions and lessons learned.
- Collaborate in the digitalization of quality records.
- Monitor, verify and generate daily reports on the progress and performance of contractor activities.
- Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- PCI Level III certification.
- 3+ years of related quality experience.
- Experience working with LADOTD Design-Build projects and/or the construction industry (preferred).
- Valid and current driver's license.
- Knowledge and experience in the implementation of the ISO 9001 standard on Quality Management System.
- Experience in implementing quality management and quality control digital tools (valued).
