Key Job Responsibilities
- Aid in performing basic auto body repairs, such as dent removal, sanding, and painting under the supervision of experienced technicians.
- Learn to use and maintain tools and equipment properly to ensure safety and efficiency in the workplace.
- Participate in vehicle inspections to identify damages and develop repair plans.
- Collaborate with team members to complete repair projects within specified timelines and quality standards.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Education And/or Experience Required
- A High School Diploma/GED is preferred.
- Trade/Vocational school graduates are preferred.
- Some on-the-job experience is preferred.
- I-CAR Gold Class certification is preferred.
Required Skills And Abilities
- At least 18 years of age.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Able to stand for long periods of time during vehicle repair.
- Able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Able to visually inspect vehicle damage in various weather conditions.
- Able to use hands efficiently in handling vehicle parts.
- Strong interest in the automotive industry and a desire to learn and develop technical skills.
- Basic knowledge of auto body repair techniques and tools is preferred but not required.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude toward learning and problem-solving.
- Reliable transportation to commute to the workplace.

- Continuously strive to improve the efficiency of the production department and overall company operation, and be willing to participate in company meetings.
- Participate in training programs as required to maintain the technical and professional skills and techniques necessary for this position.
- Extend normal working hours as necessary to accommodate workload and customer requirements.
Requirements To Qualify For Entry Into TDP
- Mentor agrees to accept trainee.
- No unplanned absences.
- No tardiness violations.
- Works with selected mentor for 90% or more of the 30-day time frame.
- Passes final Pre-TDP assessment.
- Mentor signs training agreement.
