About the role
As a Pre-Sales Senior Engagement Manager, you'll shape how Fin transforms customer support operations, from initial engagement to successful deployment. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Turn ambiguity into clarity by leading services scoping with customers to define clear deployment paths
- Own the story in pre-sales by partnering with Sales to position services and ensure customers see value from day one
- Scope what success looks like by translating business and technical requirements into clear Statements of Work (SOWs)
- Design AI-powered solutions to help customers rethink their customer experience
- Assess complexity and guide the right approach to evaluate deals based on workspace and workflow design, Fin readiness, migration complexity, and integrations
- Be the bridge between customer needs and Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to ensure what is sold is what can be delivered
- Contribute to process improvements, tooling, and scalable ways of working across pre-sales and deployment services
Requirements
- 3–5 years in consulting, pre-sales, solutions, or customer success
- Great at engaging both technical teams and senior executives
- Proven track record in creating accurate, customer-ready SOWs
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to partner with Sales to drive revenue
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills
- Familiarity with SaaS + AI automation, integrations, and change management best practices
- AI-curious and hands-on, able to understand how it changes workflows
- Not afraid to challenge customers and internal teams when necessary

Pay
The base salary range for candidates within the Greater Chicago Area is $133,700-$159,650. Actual base pay will depend on a variety of factors such as education, skills, experience, location, etc. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
Schedule
We have a hybrid working policy. Employees are expected to be in the office at least three days per week.
