Pre/Post Registered Nurse Part Time

About the role

The RN at Orthopedic Surgery Center of Creve Coeur is responsible for planning, directing, organizing, coordinating, and implementing all nursing care services for pre or post-surgical patients. They ensure the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing, JCAHO, and all Federal and State standards of care. The position requires weekdays only, with some later evenings required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, organize, coordinate, and implement all nursing care services for pre or post-surgical patients.
• Ensure the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing, JCAHO, and all Federal and State standards of care.
• Care for all ages from 1 month to geriatric.
• Work weekdays only, with some later evenings required.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• ACLS Required.
• Able to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
