The Role

This is not a traditional used car role. You will operate at a group-wide, strategic level, owning the systems, processes, and partnerships that drive pre-owned performance across all rooftops. You’ll bring a modern, data-driven approach to inventory flow, while building a centralized model that increases volume without sacrificing margin or operational discipline.

Who You Are

  • A proven operator and strategic leader in the pre-owned space—someone who understands both the front-line realities of retail and the complexity of scaled, centralized operations.

  • You bring structure where there is ambiguity, and you know how to drive performance across multiple rooftops without losing local accountability.

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of progressive automotive experience, with deep expertise in pre-owned operations

  • Experience in a high-volume, process-driven environment (e.g., CarMax, AutoNation, Sonic Automotive or similar)

  • Prior leadership experience as a Store Manager, General Manager, or in a centralized/group-level role

  • Demonstrated success driving inventory turn, acquisition strategy, and margin performance at scale

  • Strong analytical and operational mindset with the ability to translate data into execution

  • Experience building or optimizing centralized buying and disposition models

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence at all levels of the organization

Details

Salary: $200,000-$300,000/annually
