What You'll Do As a Registered Nurse – Preop/PACU at OrthoAtlanta, you’ll: Assess and monitor preoperative patients, obtain vital signs, review medical history, and ensure informed consent is completeMonitor patients recovering from anesthesia, manage pain, and address any complications to ensure safe and comfortable recoveryDocument assessments, interventions, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner within the EMRWork closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other staff to coordinate patient care and ensure a seamless surgical experienceRecognize and act on changes in patient condition, using independent clinical judgment and facility protocols to guide decisions A Great Fit If You… Excel under pressure and maintain a calm, clear head in dynamic clinical situationsCommunicate effectively with patients, families, and surgical teamsHave excellent critical thinking and clinical assessment skillsBring a team-oriented attitude and prioritizes patient safety and comfortValue precision and detail in documentation and clinical execution What You’ll Need Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)Current Registered Nurse licensure in Georgia or compact stateCurrent ACLS and BLS certifications2 years of RN experience in Preop and/or PACU preferred Why OrthoAtlanta?
