Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and advocate for them when dealing with third parties.
  • Contact clients at least every 20 days to update them on their case status and gather feedback.
  • Contact third parties such as medical providers and insurance companies on behalf of the client.
  • Ensure all assigned matters are handled promptly, accurately, and thoughtfully from case sign-up through settlement.
  • Follow the Litify Matter Plan and complete tasks in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner.
  • Organize, save, and file all matter-related documents.
  • Draft, save, mail, fax, and/or email correspondence and supporting documents.
  • Track and manage client expenses, entering them into Litify.
  • Support the handling attorney by completing tasks assigned and responding to inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Provide general office support, including greeting clients, processing mail, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with office supplies.
  • Assist with setting up and dismantling equipment and supplies.
  • Notify staff of courthouse closures.
  • Perform additional projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • College degree preferred.
  • Proficient in data entry and management.
  • Previous experience within legal, medical, or insurance industries.
  • Strong computer and keyboarding skills.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
