Pre-Litigation Attorney

Essential Job Functions

• Provide legal representation to clients in personal injury cases
• Conduct client calls and case evaluations to determine legal strategy.
• Investigate claims by reviewing police reports, medical records, witness statements, and other evidence.
• Filing management in our case management software
• Understanding UM coverage
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide case updates and legal guidance.
• Collaborate with your legal assistant to manage case workflow.
• Ensure compliance with all legal standards, ethics rules, and firm policies.

Job Qualifications Required

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• Valid license to practice law in Louisiana.
• Member of the state bar in good standing.

Job Qualifications Preferred

• Working knowledge of laws, regulations, financial compliance, and best practices in the field.
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, including consensus building.
• Customer or client service experience.
• Excellent persuasive writing skills.
• Credible and discreet, with a high level of integrity and the ability to work with highly confidential and privileged information.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Strategic thinker who can prioritize and integrate short-term and long-term goals.
• Ability to prioritize and meet multiple and competing deadlines.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
