Pre-K Ed Techs - Downeast

Description

The Educational Technician will provide instruction to children identified with developmental disabilities under the direction of a teacher. Additionally, this position may serve as an e-helper to children receiving speech therapy via tele-practice.

Required Supervision

• Perform short-term instruction in small classes or in community-based programs with indirect supervision
• Meet with the Teacher of Children With Disabilities or appropriate contact area specialist and receive direction at least on a twice weekly basis

Minimum Qualifications

• Obtain and maintain authorization as an Ed Tech with the Maine Department of Education
• Document three years of postsecondary education or a combination equivalent to 90 hours of approved study in an educationally related field
• Successful background, criminal records, fingerprinting and reference check

Pay

Salary Range: Ed Tech III $20.62 - $32.09

Schedule

30 hour per week, academic year positions with our CDS Downeast office in Brewer and Machias
