Pre-K Counts Assistant Teacher
About the role
The Assistant Teacher is responsible for participating in a cohesive teaching team, assisting with the coordination of curriculum, and helping to assist in management of the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. This includes, but is not limited to, structuring and implementing lesson plans to ensure developmentally appropriate programming, developmentally appropriate transitional activities, and maintaining the appropriate child/staff ratio.

Requirements
Assistant Teachers must understand the children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged.
Qualifications
Clearances which are required (FBI/Fingerprints, State Police and Child Abuse) are paid for by CCCDC. You will need a physical and TB test, the free NSOR clearance, Mandated Reporter training. We offer education reimbursement, 401 K, Profit Sharing, PTO and holiday pay.
