About the role

True Cross Catholic School, a PreK–8th grade Catholic school located in Dickinson, Texas, seeks a nurturing, faith-filled Pre-K Teacher to join our community of scholars and educators.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate a classroom filled with wonder, joy, order, and beauty
• Create developmentally appropriate, hands-on learning experiences that inspire curiosity and wonder
• Integrate faith throughout the school day and serve as a joyful witness to the Catholic faith
• Encourage language development through rich literature, storytelling, poetry, music, conversation, and play
• Partner closely with families in the formation of each child
• Maintain a structured, nurturing classroom environment that supports the growth of the whole child
• Collaborate with faculty in building a cohesive, mission-driven school culture

Requirements

• Practicing Catholic in good standing preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• Valid Texas teaching certification or the ability to obtain certification
• Experience teaching preschool or early childhood students preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Passion for classical education and willingness to grow in the classical tradition
• Commitment to ongoing professional and spiritual formation
