Responsibilities

• Empower individuals to reach their employment goals with coaching, skill building, and support that prepares them for success
• Support and provide instructional training for participants to prepare them for competitive employment
• Manage a caseload of up to 5-8 individuals
• Prepare and submit documentation and paperwork according to established timeframes and guidelines
• Foster relationships and manage clear, ongoing communication with all parties, including participants and families, internal teams, and funders
• Build a professional network and beneficial contacts across the business community
• Maintain a balance of billable and nonbillable time at 85% or higher throughout the fiscal year

Requirements

• At least 2 to 3 years of experience—preferably supporting people with developmental and intellectual disabilities
• Solid time-management, communication, decision-making, and negotiation skills—to ensure the provision of safe, high-quality support
• Effective, professional communication skills
• Familiarity with word processing software, database products, email, and smartphones
• Ability to obtain CPR/first aid certification—provided by St. Louis Arc at no cost

Qualifications

• Some college education; bachelor's degree preferred
• Basic knowledge of employment laws
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
