Pre-Clinical Faculty, Diagnostic Sciences (Evergreen position)

Minimum Qualifications

• Knowledge of restorative and preventive information and techniques
• Knowledge of dental materials and emerging digital applications to clinical restorative treatment
• Education: DDS/DMD or international equivalent from an accredited dental school program
• Active license to practice dentistry
• Valid CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population of patients, students, staff, faculty, and administration
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Work effectively in a group setting
• Reflect, self-assess, and think critically
• Maintain confidentiality of information
• Demonstrate professional judgment in all situations
• Previous teaching or practice experience (preferred)
• Minimum of one year practice experience (preferred)
• Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures
• Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting
• Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work
