Pre Clerk PT
R+L Carriers has an immediate opening for a Pre-Clerk in our Reno, NV Service Center.
About the Role
This part-time position involves answering calls on a multi-line system, redirecting calls to appropriate contacts, data entry, processing driver paperwork, and assisting dispatchers. Other duties may be assigned by management as needed.
Responsibilities
- Answer calls on a multi-line phone system
- Redirect calls to appropriate contacts
- Perform data entry tasks
- Process driver paperwork
- Assist dispatchers
- Additional duties as requested by management
Requirements
- Ability to multitask and work with a sense of urgency
- Typing speed of 30 WPM with accuracy
- Dependable and well-organized
- Computer literate with strong office, telephone, and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of Windows, Outlook, and other Microsoft products
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a clerk or similar role in a fast-paced environment
- Freight logistics experience

Pay
Starting at $18.76 per hour.
Schedule
Part-time, Monday - Friday, various shifts.
