Pre-Batch Mixing Associate

Cardinal Staffing is currently hiring for a colorant manufacturing facility in Sandusky, OH.

About the role

In this role, you will be responsible for the critical pre-batch mixing process, ensuring that high-quality raw materials are precisely measured, blended, and prepared for the main production process. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be essential as you work alongside an experienced production team.

Responsibilities

• Measure and mix raw materials according to established formulas and procedures
• Monitor the pre-batch mixing process and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols
• Assist with other production tasks as required

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in the chemical or coatings industry
• Proficiency in using measuring tools and iPads
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Working Conditions

• Fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to chemicals and physical demands
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Shifts may vary, including the potential for weekend work

Pay

$16.50 per hour (after hire in rate $17-$18.50)

Schedule

2nd shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
3rd shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
