Mixing & Batching Technician

About the Role

This is a high-paced position that requires attention to detail in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Area Lead in preparation for shift change
• Perform at least 50% or more of the Area Lead’s responsibilities
• Follow batch sheets and weigh out ingredients
• Operate mixers, meat grinders, and other department equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Clean and assemble equipment
• Promote teamwork and work safely by following all safety standards and procedures
• Attend daily trainings
• Additional duties as assigned and/or required

Qualifications

• Desire and willingness to learn
• Math skills required
• Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude
• Ability to adhere to scheduled work hours
• Maintain proper hygiene
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written directions in English

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 55 pounds regularly
• Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance
