Under the supervision of the DON or Surgical Coordinator, organizes and implements Pre-Admission Testing in a timely and efficient manner to facilitate the flow of patient information to appropriate departments.

Responsibilities

• Performs required clerical work relating to Pre Calls.
• Keeps medical record complete and in order and ensures all parts of the medical record are properly identified by patient label.
• Enters all pre call information accurately into the computer.
• Enters patient medications into computer with accuracy.
• Keeps unit supplied with all necessary stationary and other supplies at all times.
• Maintains economical utilization of supplies/equipment and orders supplies as necessary with cost awareness.
• Assists assembling charts when needed.
• Responds to patient and inquiries/comments,
