Overview
Location: Piedmont Fayette Hospital. Shift: Days; 8:00 am – 5:30 pm. Status: Full-time. Department: Pre-Admission Testing.
Responsibilities
- Provides nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or provider to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing the nursing process in accordance with Piedmont Healthcare's Mission and Vision Statements.
- Functions within the framework of their license and the policy and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability.
- Guides ancillary staff, collaborates with other health care professionals in the provision of quality nursing care.
- Blends compassion, caring and technologically appropriate competency resulting in holistic care to the patient.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an LPN program Required.
- Work Experience: New graduates of an accredited nursing school are eligible. Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred.
- Licenses and Certifications:
- LPN – Licensed Practical Nurse – State Licensure Required.
- BCLS – Basic Life Support Required.
- Demonstrated clinical competency in the specialty area applying for Preferred.
- LPNs new to specialty will complete applicable certifications within 180 Days.
