Practice Services Manager II: Billing, Collections, & Reimbursement
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain reimbursement timeline, including tracking deadlines for deliverables.
- Develop and manage budget.
- Schedule people and material resources.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and institutional resources.
- Ensure reimbursement data and progress are reported to stakeholders.
- Coordinate and creates development of materials including educational materials, marketing materials, websites, forms, and reports.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of comprehensive databases and files related to the program.
- Organize internal and external meetings, site visits, and special events.
- Create and oversee training for Billing, Collections, and Reimbursement employees.
- Monitor team performance and provide coaching and feedback.
- Cookordination and management of activities, including acting as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead and participate in appropriate committees relevant to the advancement of the program and the profession.
Qualifications
- Appropriate experience may be substituted on equivalent basis.
- Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum Required Experience: 8 years experience in multi-payer physician reimbursement with equivalent size scope. 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Preferred Experience: Experience within an academic medical setting preferred.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and attentiveness to detail required.
- Strong computer skills.
- Advanced knowledge of the program study area.
- Excellent ability to motivate and engage team members.
